About this Event
Celebrate Fall with a walk through a magical forest to meet and greet a wide variety of PNW native, edible, medicinal, beautiful, bizarre mushrooms! Learn mushroom identification skills, ethical foraging practices and safety precautions.
It is essential you check your email the day before the walk in case of cancellation and for the exact location in the park to meet. If you go to the wrong location, we will not be able to wait for you. Walks are subject to cancellation due to weather and mushroom emergence status, they do what they want!
Wear warm clothes and sturdy shoes you can get wet, dirty and muddy. No kids or dogs to limit distractions and impact on the land. There is no foraging during the walk to limit impact on the land; this is a guided educational walk only. Walks include uneven terrain, occasional narrow steep trails, mud, and rocks/roots to navigate. If you have any mobility limitations, please contact me about a private walk to ensure your safety.
