This hands-on workshop will be a brief introduction into the world of mushroom growing. We'll guide you through the process of growing mushrooms on logs; you'll get experience with each step necessary to grow mushrooms outside. This is a great way to level up your home garden!

We will explore some of the processes in mushroom cultivation, benefits of growing mushrooms, learn about differences when growing various species, growing guidance, and how to care for your logs. At the end, each participant can take their log home to care for! Mushrooms will be ready for harvesting next spring.

This is wonderful practical spring project for anyone wanting to learn more about the mushroom growing process.

*Power tools will be used so this class might not be suitable for children under 12.
