The event will start at Benders Landing boat ramp where attendees will gather before driving to the site for guided foraging, instructions on mushroom identification, and a cooking demonstration/tasting.
Walking will likely take place off-trail on potentially uneven terrain in wet conditions. Please wear appropriate footwear for mud, and dress prepared for rain. Participation may require stooping, kneeling, and walking through brush. If you have a basket for collection, feel free to bring it!
