"Museums for Play and Growth" are FREE drop-in sessions for children 0–5 years old inspired by "50 Things to Do Before You’re Five".On every second Friday of the month, you can bring your little ones to Cartwright Hall to explore our art gallery, learn something new, and have a fun time.
The session includes some of the “50 Things to Do Before You’re Five” activities and a creative play zone to spark imagination, offering you and your child up to two hours of quality time spent in the museum. When the session ends, you can stay in the museum to see other exciting things.
PLEASE NOTE: All the bookable Turner Prize drop in sessions are now booked - we will be resuming our drop-in session in February 2026
Stay and play sessions are also available in our other museums.

1st Saturday of the month in Bradford Industrial Museum
2nd Friday of the month in Cartwright Hall
3rd Wednesday of the month in Bolling Hall
4th Thursday of the month in Cliffe Castle
