Designed for ChildrenThe Subiaco Museum is bringing back movie magic with some of the early motion picture technologies. Learn how to make an old fashion zoetrope and create your own flipbook. There will also be a collection of Magic Lanterns, Dissolving Slides, Phantasmagoria, Phenakistoscopes, Zootropes and Mutoscopes on site to see how the first movies were created. Check out the museum’s Coliseum Theatre ticket box and our interactive play gallery at the same time.
Note: This requires some cutting and gluing which may need adult assistance. Parents and Guardians to remain onsite during the session.
