In this workshop, we will be learning and exploring the significance of sweetgrass from Indigenous perspective. Participants will make a sweetgrass infused bath salt and have the opportunity to sample sweetgrass soda from Mohawk Soda Company.
Tanya is from Six Nations of the Grand River community. Roots and Raven was born out of her interest in sharing the positive effect that connecting to land has on both our mental and physical well-being. Tanya is passionate and dedicated to sharing knowledge about processes of growing, foraging, harvesting in connection with the land.
Cost: $50 for New Tecumseth residents, $60 for non-residents.
