About this Event

Join this panel to hear from four Tyler alums with professional experiences in major cultural institutions across the United States. They’ll discuss their various roles, professional pathways, and lessons learned while building their careers as arts administrators.

Panelist Bios

Princeton Cangé (BFA ‘19) is a Haitian American visual artist and currently works at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago. Previously, he held administrative positions at the Studio Museum in Harlem and the Fabric Workshop and Museum in Philadelphia. Cangé graduated from the Tyler School of Art with a degree in Fine Art and a Minor in Art History in 2019.

Laura Igoe (PhD ‘14) is the Chief Curator at the Michener Art Museum, specializing in American art and material culture of the long 19th century. She has held curatorial positions at the Harvard Art Museums, Princeton University Art Museum, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Science History Institute in Philadelphia. She received a PhD in art history from Temple University in 2014.

Victoria Ravelo (MFA ‘21) is a visual artist who currently works at the Pérez Art Museum and teaches at the University of Miami. Ravelo was recently featured in a biennial exhibition for Project Row Houses and has completed residencies Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Colorado and Locust Projects in Miami. Ravelo received a master's degree in fine arts from Tyler School of Art and Architecture in 2021.

Jennifer Zwilling (MA ‘01) is the Curator and Director of Artistic Programs at The Clay Studio in Philadelphia. She administers the Resident Artist Program, Exhibitions, The Collection, and the Guest Artist in Residence Program. Previously, she was Assistant Curator of American Decorative Arts and Contemporary Craft at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. She earned her BA in History from Ursinus College and MA in Art History from Temple University, Tyler School of Art in 2001.
