Join us at Royal Cornwall Museum for a look back at the last 200 years of the RNLI saving lives at sea in Cornwall. Through an illustrated talk with historical photos and film, recent footage and stories, Dave Nicoll will show how the RNLI has developed over the last 200 years, including the key part that women have played throughout its history.
About Dave Nicoll
Dave Nicoll has been an RNLI volunteer for over 43 years, and is currently a Coxswain of the Falmouth Lifeboat. He is now Fundraising and Partnership Lead for RNLI South West.
This event is part of our collaborative exhibition, 'RNLI - 200 years of Saving Lives at Sea' which runs from 23rd July - 16th November. Find out more about the exhibition here.
Pay what you feel £6/£8/£10
50% of ticket proceeds will go to RNLI.
This event will take place Thursday 12th September and will include entry to the event, evening entry to the museum, and access to the museum shop. A bar will also be open on the night, serving wine, soft drinks, tea, coffee, and snacks for an additional cost.
