Do you enjoy sharing your love of art, science, and history with others? We are looking for volunteer docents to become part of our Museum docent program! Please join us in the Root Family Auditorium for one of our information sessions to learn about our new program and what being a docent is all about. ✔️Open to continued learning
✔️Dedicated, Passionate, Serving
✔️Public Speaker
✔️Team Player
[Docent Requirements]
✔️Ability to stand for at least one hour, with the possibility of more time regularly.
✔️Ability to walk the distance between various galleries all around the Museum (both MOAS and BMOA respectively).
✔️Preferred flexibility of schedule and tour styles for various groups.
✔️Basic tech skills (i.e., email use, web search for scholarly information, phone use). Most current email is REQUIRED for all docents.
✔️Adhering to standards, policies, and procedures as prescribed by Museum staff.
✔️Ability to pass a background check.
