—----------------------------------------------------------------
This year The Museum of Unheard (of) Things marks its 25th anniversary. Taking a long weekend seems appropriate. A large selection of the museum collection is brought to Oslo and installed in the spirit of the Museum situated in Berlin. Van Etten, also a Celebrant marking its 5th year, is very pleased to be the host.
Museum der Unerhörten Dinge is a "Literary Cabinet of Curiosities" by Roland Albrecht, located between house numbers 5 and 6 on Crellestraße in Schöneberg, Berlin. The museum displays unique objects and their unheard (of) stories, all categorized according to weight, and holds the record of being the most visited museum in Berlin (if one offsets the number of visitors to the square meters of the exhibition space).

The Museum will not be traveling alone.
Linster and Christensen, both devoted fans and friends of the Museum tags along. They first met in Berlin in 2012 and started to sporadically parallel cooperate. Linster already at that time had the pleasure to intervene and present works at the Museum. Christensen joined, and at several occasions since then, they have been guesting the Museum together.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Roland Albrecht was born in 1950 in the town of Memmingen in the Allgäu (Southern Germany). He lives in Berlin and has worked in various medical professions. He is a photographer, artist, and writer who has published and exhibited widely with pieces that mainly focus on text and object. His work includes collages, short radio plays, short films, soundscapes and audiovisual portraits. He has been curating The Museum of Unheard (of) Things since its inception in 1997.
Werner Linster (born 1956), studied art, art history and art pedagogy at Johannes-Gutenberg-Universität in Mainz, Germany, and at St. Martin’s School of Art in London. He lives and works in Berlin. His drawings and sculptures draw from his research in the crossover fields of cultural history of script- and pictureformation, experimental literature and music, and the physical expression in drawing. Linster’s works were presented in numerous solo and group shows in Berlin, London, San Francisco, Warsaw, Freiburg and Mainz.
Sara Korshøj Christensen (born 1979 DK), works with a variety of medias. The physical materials are often chosen because she finds them interesting in terms of their potential for expansion and mutability. She attempts to question the universal and existential through the familiar. Most of her works holds a humorous twist, with slightly unpleasant undercurrents. By playing around with logos, symbols and puns, she attempts to open a wider space for thought and reflection.

The exhibition is kindly supported by the Norwegian Art Council.
