Join us for this very special Village Sounds as we proudly welcome several artists to celebrate the rich musical history and accomplishments of the Cherokee Outlet! Come and listen to performances by Caleb Denison (formerly of Never Shout Never), Jesse LaFave & Rachel Reese (Jesse is the nephew of American singer-songwriter and folk musician Jimmy LaFave), and Riley Jantzen (formerly of Mayola)!
The Heritage Center will close briefly at its regular time of 5:00 p.m. to prepare for the event. The doors will reopen at 5:30 p.m. to allow visitors to explore the new exhibit, The Rhapsody Project, which showcases individuals and groups from northwest Oklahoma who have made significant contributions to the national and/or global music industry, such as those performing.
The event will begin at 7 p.m. on the Heritage Center Plaza, weather permitting. Guests are encouraged to bring their own seating, snacks, and family-friendly beverages. No alcohol, please. Free popcorn will be available courtesy of Leonardo’s Children’s Museum.
This event will be offered to the public free of charge.
