About this Event
Learn some of the stories that make the lands at Fort Calgary a historically layered and meaningful site. Explore museum exhibits about Treaty 7, Métis influence in Alberta and the founding and early stages of the city of Calgary. Check out the replica 1888 Barracks for special exhibitions, then take a self-guided audio tour of the parklands at the confluence of the Bow and Elbow rivers — a place of significance to Indigenous peoples since long before 1875, when the North West Mounted Police established Fort Calgary.
We are excited to share that our doors will open again on Wednesday, May 10. Because we are so thrilled to finally have visitors again, admission to the museum will be pay-what-you-can upon entry from May 10 — May 14!
