About this Event
Join us for a unique yoga class that blends the art of movement with the power of words.
We'll begin with 30-40 minutes of yoga, awakening the body to the natural rhythms of breath and movement. Just as a murmuration of starlings moves in harmony, we'll find our flow together. Following this, we'll transition into 20 minutes of creative writing, allowing our words to take flight, inspired by the sensations we've cultivated in our practice.
As we return to our mats, we'll share our written reflections, reading them aloud while moving to a simple learned flow as the sun goes down. In this experience, we explore the concept of rhythm—known as RITAM in Sanskrit—through the flow of our bodies and the cadence of our creative writing. It is much like a murmuration, a flock of starling birds, where each movement and word seamlessly syncs with the next, deepening our connection to the ebb and flow of life.
Whether you're a seasoned yogi or a curious writer, this class offers a space to explore the harmony between body and mind, movement and expression. Come ready to move, write, and share in a supportive and creative community.
