We are approaching Samhain, the ancient Irish New Year. Yes, Halloween originated here as a Celtic celebration to mark the end of summer and the beginning of winter, when the veil between the worlds is really thin. The end of the year is also approaching, with my birthday. But in between, there is another celebration: one year since the label's return. And for that, I am holding the last event of this season in Belfast. After touring France, Lisbon, Glasgow, Barcelona, Madrid, Amsterdam and Ireland, Wallace's tour is coming to an end. I invited my friend @Murilosa, with his unstoppable synth-pop, with cleaver and catchy lyrics. We met when we were living in São Paulo in 2019 at the first Wallace concert and played together in Barcelona (with Lovnis in 2021, @suzanflag this one's for you). It was about time we did it again. Last time at Rúnda with @brunoberle_ and his band was a blast. Let's get into that beautiful energy. Can't wait to see y'all.
Murilo Sá is a known name from the Brazilian indie scene, boasting a multifaceted career as a singer,songwriter, and music producer. He has three critically acclaimed albums. Since relocating to Berlin in 2020, Murilo has formed the band LOVNIS, which is quite active inBerlin´s scene, and got involved in a number of other projects. The new single “Good Old Days” is a lo-fi, synth-laced letter to the days of old — specifically the DIY spirit ofthe 80s and 90s indie music. Saturated drum machine beats, deep synth bass, and a nostalgic guitar riff createa dreamy soundscape that contrasts with lyrics about loneliness, longing, and a hopeless wish to reverse time.“Good Old Days” sits comfortably between indie pop and synthpop, with texture-rich production that fans ofMac DeMarco, Beck, and Ariel Pink are likely to appreciate.
