On Sunday, the 14th of December, the curtain rises on a preview performance of Cinderella—but all is not well in the kingdom. Behind the sequins, sparkle, and slapstick, a shadow is lurking. The Ugly Sisters are bickering, Buttons is hiding a secret, the Fairy Godmother’s magic seems… unreliable, and Prince Charming may not be all that he appears.
Then—disaster strikes. A scream echoes, the glass slipper slips from its place, and the performance takes a deadly turn.
One of the cast will not live to see the happily-ever-after.
