The Trustees of the Morristown Centennial Library are presenting Louise Penny's "Murder by the Book" - an original play about a community theatre troupe tries to save their library .. with deadly and hilarious results!. We are looking for actors for the following roles:Lucy Nickel Our hero. Librarian and reluctant stage manager turned reluctant sleuth.
Hillary Shilling- Challenger. Reformer. The janitor of the library. She’s harsh and intimidating.
Sarah Sovereign- The victim. Incredibly wealthy and sooo out of touch with ordinary people.
Shelagh O’Coin- Fool. Aspiring playwright. She writes shoddy self-published novels.
Steve Quid- Gold digger. Vain. Charmer & flatterer. He comes from lost wealth.
Danny Farthing- Cop (Officer Farthing). He is debilitatingly shy except when on the community theatre stage.
Bill Quarter- Caregiver/peacemaker. Retired teacher. Pollyanna. Making tea and rubbing shoulders.
Dorie Drachma- A bit of a villain. Chair ‘man’ of the board of the library. She is so conservative; she doesn’t believe in changing the title to chairperson or woman.
