ANNOUNCING AUDITIONS AT THE ROSE!The Rose Theatre announces upcoming auditions for "Murder at the Renaissance Faire" for adult actors. Tryouts will be held on Thursday, October 24, at 6:00 P.M. or Friday, October 25 at 6:00 P.M. at The Rose Theatre (120 West Third Street, Maryville). Performance dates are slated for December 6-8.
Those auditioning need to come just one of those evenings and do not need to bring a prepared monolog. There are eleven roles in the play, including for two males, two females, and seven who could be either. Four of the roles call for actors in their 20's.
This play will be presented as a dessert theater, with actors dressed in Renaissance costumes. According to Nina Dewhirst, director for the show, "The Rose Theatre is excited to feature this annual dessert theater during the Christmas season--complete with Renaissance costuming and decorations!"
