Have you ever wanted to paint a mural but weren’t sure where to start? Let an experienced muralist lead you through the process of designing, transferring and painting your art on a wall, all while beautifying MAXT’s new home at Noone Falls! In Muraling 101 you’ll receive design pointers, review the many techniques for transferring your design, and play with industry-favorite tools and materials for installing your mural right on the walls of MAXT Makerspace. This course meets for a first lab for instruction and initial design then will have follow up, flexible lab time to complete your piece for reveal at an open day event . Instructor Lorin Baeta is a local artist with public murals and signage you may have spotted at small businesses, farms or schools in and around Peterborough.
