Founded by brothers Lewis & Paul Lavoie, Mural Mosaic is many individual paintings placed in a specific order to create a large painting. The first mural was created in 1997 in Alberta, Canada. The company has since orchestrated hundreds of collaborative murals all around the world.The Lavoies are passionate about unity through diversity, bringing together the uniqueness of individuals to tell a story. They creatively blend the styles, voices, and subject matter of community participants to form a cohesive masterpiece.
Mural Mosaic represents collaboration and community, celebrating the love of art; connecting tile to tile, and creating a legacy of a moment in time.
Carlisle is the first site in Pennsylvania, and one of five locations on the upcoming connecting nature tour, which includes installations in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada.
