The Monash University Philharmonic Society Inc. is excited to announce our annual Spring concert: 'Australiana'!Join us on Sunday, October 13, 2024 from 3pm as we take you across the Australian landscape, a journey filled with beauty, joy, pain, and contemplation.
Featuring our two main ensembles, Monash Symphonic Winds (MSW) and Monash Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO), they will be performing some magnificent repertoire this concert. This includes The Man from Snowy River, Moving Pictures, Postcards from Big Things, and Percy Grainger pieces such as Colonial Song and Handel in the Strand!
This concert will be held at The Knox School Auditorium in Wantirna South, which includes 2 hours of music with a 20-minute interval.
Ticket prices are as follows:
- Adults: $25
- Concession: $20
- Children & MUPS Members: $15
