About this Event
Join Our Municipal Investment Fund (MIF) Stakeholder Engagement Session!
We're bringing together key players for an in-person chat about the Municipal Investment Fund. This is your chance to connect, share ideas, and dive into how the fund can make a real difference in our communities.
The City’s partnership with USGBC-CA and GRID IE will focus on four key implementation pathways:
- Project Development & Community Engagement: Identifying solar, storage, EV infrastructure, and decarbonization projects across privately-owned and municipal sites while supporting residents through transparent outreach and consumer-protective financing models.
- Coalition Building: Bringing together local governments, nonprofits, workforce providers, and industry partners to streamline permitting, reduce delays, and improve investment readiness in clean energy and infrastructure projects.
- Innovative Financing: Leveraging GRID IE’s Energy Resilience Fund and blended capital opportunities to accelerate clean energy deployment and reduce early-stage project risk.
- Workforce Development: Expanding clean energy job pipelines through GRID IE’s Clean Tech Training Center and USGBC-CA’s Building Performance Hub to help train the next generation of clean energy and infrastructure workers with emphasis on minority- and women-owned businesses and underrepresented workers.
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to engage with stakeholders and help shape the future!
