--- More Info ---
This site was historically a seasonally inundated wetland with meandering creeks and waterholes. The creek continues to function as a wetland, watercourse (drainage system) and nature corridor between the suburbs of West End, Garbutt, Belgian Gardens and Rowes Bay where it provides valuable habitat for aquatic and terrestrial species of birds and animals. The site contains many significant natural values and it's a lovely place to traverse and spend an afternoon with sea breezes coming through the Rowes Bay Gap and views to Yunbenun, Mandilgun (Castle Hill and Mt Stuart) and the ranges.
