Featuring SHOMIT BASU, a young, aspiring Hindi poet recently relocated to Canberra. His work is rooted in mythological and historical themes, drawing inspiration from texts like the Ramayan and Mahabharat. Shomit has over seven years of theatre experience and is the founder of Pravota Digital Media, a cultural arts group based in Kolkata. His performance will explore the relevance and teachings from his cultural heritage, combining original poems, couplets, and shayaris in Hindi, with English introductions. Poet, auto-biographical blogger, storyteller and radio-producer, VESNA FLOWER CVJETICANIN, will also be sharing some of her latest poems in Serbian.
