Language shapes one’s capacity to meaningfully participate in decision-making. In Ghana, the use of English, a minority language, in national fora automatically constrains active participation by stakeholders who are proficient only in indigenous languages. This lecture explores all-inclusive Ghanaian politics beyond English and proposes a linguistically diverse matrix that facilitates the easy flow of opinion without the risk of censorship.
