About this Event

Lipscomb University's Institute for Conflict Management is excited to host the next Lunch & Learn event, marking the launch of adjunct professors Jessica Stollings and Dr. Karah Sprouse's revised and expanded first book, Regenerate: Empowering generations to work with (and not against) each other.

Stollings and Dr. Sprouse will explore the main themes presented in Regenerate, including generational disconnect and divides, and how to use the strengths of these differences to create thriving organizations.

Join us in person at Lipscomb's Spark Center in downtown Nashville, or attend the session virtually. Lunch and validated parking are included with free registration. Online attendees will receive a Zoom link prior to the event and will have a noon start time.

There will be an opportunity to purchase and/or have your Regenerate book signed at the event.

About the speakers:

Jessica Stollings is a national speaker, trainer, author, and executive coach, as well as the co-founder of Regenerate—a company dedicated to helping organizations bridge generational divides and integrate Gen Z into the workforce. She serves as an adjunct faculty member in Lipscomb University's College of Leadership and Public Service and is committed to reclaiming knowledge sharing across generations.

Jessica has held various leadership roles in corporate communication and talent development. She also served as a nationally syndicated news reporter for a radio news program heard by more than two million listeners.

She has studied how to bridge gaps across generations for more than 15 years, serving over 150 clients in 35 states and delivering 500 keynotes and training events. Jessica’s work has been highlighted in SHRM, Ragan/PR Daily, The Chronicle of Higher Education, The Journal of Intergenerational Relationships, The Review of Managerial Science, and more.

Her experiential, collaborative team training using an escape game in a box was voted one of the top 120 trainings in the world by Training Magazine. Jessica’s most recent creation—an inclusive leadership program she developed and taught for BOMA Georgia— received the American Society of Association Executives’ highest honor.

Jessica holds a BS in English and Communication from King University and was an Academic All-American volleyball player. She and her daughter, June, live in Tennessee, where they are committed to a life of intention and adventure.

Dr. Karah Sprouse is a national speaker, consultant, trainer, researcher, and author, as well as the co-founder of Regenerate—a company dedicated to helping organizations bridge generational divides and integrate Gen Z into the workforce. She currently serves as adjunct faculty in Lipscomb University's College of Leadership and Public Service and as a professor of practice at Cumberland University, where she spent over a decade as a business professor.

Prior to her work in academia, she held project management roles at Underwriters Laboratories and LexisNexis, where she led generationally diverse teams and developed a passion for intergenerational workplace collaboration.

Karah’s research has earned recognition from several national and international academic bodies, including the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs.

Karah holds a BS from the University of Tennessee in Business Administration, an MBA from the University of Mississippi, and a DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) from Liberty University. Karah is a wife and mom who lives on her family's multigenerational farm near Nashville with her husband, children, and barnyard pets.
