ABOUT:Join us for a fun and relaxed quiz night focusing on health and wellbeing with the MCCSA Men's Council. This event will be commemorating International Men's Day - the theme for International Men's Day 2025 is 'Supporting Men and Boys'.
This evening is all about making new friends through food and games in a fun and casual environment. We'll also be sharing information about how the MCCSA Men's Council can provide support to help activate men's groups in community by partnering with multicultural community organisations and associations to provide resourcing for community to deliver culturally appropriate and relevant programs.
Come be part of it and help make a difference in the lives of others whilst having fun and enjoying delicious food.

WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?:
The MCCSA recognises that men's attitudes towards mental health are gradually evolving. While many still hesitate to seek help, there's a growing awareness of the importance of mental wellbeing. Some men are breaking traditional stereotypes by opening up about their struggles and seeking professional support.
This shift, though slow, is encouraging and can lead to better outcomes. However, challenges remain in overcoming long-standing stigmas and cultural expectations. Continued efforts in education, destigmatisation, and improving access to mental health resources are crucial for making meaningful progress in men's mental health care.
