About this Event

Abstract: Multiculturally focused supervision is an intentional compilation of actions, intentional self-reflection, and purposeful embedding of multicultural conversations. Participants will identify areas of growth and challenge areas for themselves in providing multiculturally focused supervision. Various supervision approaches will be reviewed and explored for supporting multiculturally focused supervisors, Associates, & graduate intern students. Session will conclude with recommendations for integrating different interventions & techniques into their practices.


Continuing Education Requirements:

As a Texas licensee with supervisor status, Dr. Salazar's sessions meets the 50% requirement for acceptabe contiuning education providers for Texas Licensed Professional Counselors. This session will offer 1.5 supervision continuing education hours for licensees with supervisor status or all licensees for cultural competency. All license levels welcome!
