About this Event
The Multicultural CommUNITY Resource Fair brings together school districts, businesses, and community partners to connect students and families with vital services. With more than 55 organizations and 58 school districts participating each year, the fair highlights the power of collaboration in supporting immigrant, refugee, and multilingual communities across Central Ohio.
This year, we are excited to share a few new opportunities and connections:
- Graduating college seniors in attendance: Seniors from across Ohio colleges and universities will attend to learn about your organizations for possible employment and career pathways.
- 12:30 PM Live performances from a Nepali student dance group.
- 1 PM | Featured Speaker: Dr. Mawdo Fall, author of Unshattered, is a respected educator advocating for trauma-informed, culturally responsive teaching. With over 20 years of experience, he teaches TESOL in Reynoldsburg City Schools, focusing on empowering multilingual students. His journey from a struggling student in Senegal to an award-winning teacher illustrates the power of education, empathy, and resilience.
- All Day | Featured exhibit, From Struggle to Strength, from photographer Tariq Tarey, Senior Director of New American Services at Jewish Family Services
This event is not only a celebration of community, but also a powerful networking opportunity and a chance to strengthen partnerships, which leads to our theme: A Tapestry of Hope and Connection.
