Come celebrate the great diversity of our community at the Multicultural Celebration during the Kipona Festival on August 30-September 1 between Walnut and Locust Streets in Riverfront Park. Groups will showcase their cultures through music and dance performances on a stage, educational demonstrations, vendor booths, food trucks, and more. Also don't miss the Native American Festival on City Island to experience authentic dances, music, crafts, and more. The event runs from 11am-7pm on Saturday and Sunday and 11am-6pm on Monday. This is a FREE admission event with no tickets required. PARKING - street parking is free on August 31 & Sept 1 for the holiday. On August 30, Downtown street parking is free after 5pm. City Island parking is $5 and the Market Square Garage is $10 from 9am-9pm courtesy of Park Harrisburg.
PUBLIC TRANSIT / BIKES - Recycle Bicycle will provide free bike parking near Walnut and Forster Streets. The train station is a short 3 blocks away from the festival.
