2-day Multi-org Sound Quality Training and SQ ShowThis event builds upon the West Coast multi-org training event in January 2024 and is complementary with other training events being held at Genesis Audio throughout the month of March 2025.
Registration will be primarily handled onsite, but pre-registration will be offered at a discounted rate for the training. Pre-registration will be made available on February 22, one month before the event on papasinsound.square.site.
Saturday, March 22 Training: ($180 onsite, pre-reg $150)
ECA, EMMA, MASQ offered. Plan is for us to have a "classroom" portion in the first part of the day (similar to how we held it at the January 2024 West Coast training event) where everyone got to hear how each org/format approaches their rules, classes, scoresheet, etc. Then we can break out into smaller groups and have listening sessions for each of the format/orgs music. Thanks to Genesis Audio, we will have multiple world class listening rooms available for the training offered.
Sunday, March 23 SQ Competition: (Each org will handle registrations day of)
ECA 3X (3 judge avg), EMMA, IASCA, MASQ will be offered.
ECA 3X entry fee: $65, 3 scoresheets - 3 judge average
EMMA 2X entry fee: $45
IASCA 2X entry fee: $40
MASQ entry fee: $30
