Get ready for a fishy and fun wave of excitement at the Mullet Run 5K, happening in the charming town of Abacoa, Jupiter! This fun-filled event invites runners and walkers of all ages to join in a spirited 5K that
supports vital marine research along Florida's beautiful Treasure Coast.
Participants will not only enjoy a scenic course in Abacoa but also registrants, for the first 150 runners receive a custom premium "Mullet Run" Elevate Lightweight Tee, courtesy of Free Fly Apparel. Additionally, all participants will receive a unique finisher medal and a swag bag filled with goodies.
100% of the proceeds will benefit the American Saltwater Guides Association, which champions conservation and innovative fisheries research. By participating in the Mullet Run, you’ll be contributing to crucial acoustic telemetry research that helps scientists track the movement of marine life, including fish, dolphins, turtles, and more. The American Saltwater Guides Association (ASGA) is a fisheries non-profit built on the tag line of better business through conservation. ASGA Believes that when our oceans and marine natural resources are healthy and abundant that all of our lives and coastal businesses are made better. ASGA advocates for science-driven management of our natural resources
and lead new fisheries research where science doesn’t already exist.
100% of proceeds from this event will be donated to ASGAs initiative to enhance the acoustic receiver network in the waters along the Treasure Coast. This effort will benefit researchers around the country,
as acoustic arrays allow scientists to track the movement and migration of fish, dolphins, turtles, manta rays and more! All recorded tag information is shared in a collaborative network.
