Fayette County residents may collect up to one free truckload of mulch. Mulch available is yard waste that has been picked up by the city and turned into mulch. The City of Lexington offers this mulch back to residents for use in gardening and landscaping.Reminders:
- Please do not arrive before 8am. Mulch is first-come, first-served and may run out before noon.
- Enter via Jimmie Campbell Drive.
- One pickup truck load per person.
- A smaller self-serve area is available for picking up smaller amounts of mulch in a car or SUV. Those who self-load mulch will be limited to a 10-minute loading time. You must bring your own shovel, bags and other supplies.
- The event is for Fayette County residents only. Bring your driver's license with a Lexington address
