Mulberry Creek HerbFarm & Winery will host their annual Christkindlmarkt, featuring local vendors, a food buffet, a Christmas choir, and a "12 Days of Christimas" raffle on Saturday,
December 7th (from 10 to 5) and Sunday, December 8th (from noon to 4). These outdoor Christmas markets, associated with the celebration of Christmas during the
four weeks of Advent, originated in Germany in 1434, but are now held in many countries. Since the herbfarm owner was born in Munich and his wife is even "more German than he is", (according to "Ancestry.com"), the celebration features German food and "glühwein,"
known as "glow wine," created from the owner's Bavarian grandfather's recipe.
Wine tastings and tours will take place each day. Instead of an admission fee, participants are asked to bring a cash donation to be collected for "Boots to Grasses"- a therapeutic horse program in Berlin Heights. Donations can be
