In yoga, the pelvic floor is often referred to as Mula Bandha or the root chakra, withyogis understanding its connection to breath and movement for centuries. Yet many of
us feel disconnected from this area. This workshop offers a beginner’s overview of the
pelvic floor, exploring its structure and how it connects to the diaphragm and core.
Through yoga, breathwork, and mindful movement, we’ll learn to coordinate breath with
the pelvic floor and integrate it into fluid motion. Enjoy a light lunch mid way through
where we will have time for Q&A before continuing with the workshop. Leave with tips
and tricks as well has nutritional benefits to support bowel and bladder health. If you
struggle with pelvic pain, urinary/bowel leakage, or a slew of other abdominal pelvic
symptoms, this workshop could be the first step toward better control and awareness.
Open to all ages, genders, and yoga levels. We look forward to seeing you on the mat!
