About this Event
We will be sitting with Mugwort in different forms (tea, tincture, salve, smoke) to connect with the plant and with our bodies.
We will be noticing how we feel, listening to our bodies and observing any sensations or impulses that we feel to help us gain an embodied understanding of this plant. I will then lead everyone through a guided meditation, specifically written for this plant, and we will gain a deeper understanding of the benefits and gifts this plant has to offer.
- Mugwort is a popular and reliable herbal ally for dreamwork.
- Mugwort has a long history of use for clearing stagnant energy.
- Mugwort is bitter, aromatic, warming and has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, making it wonderful for cramps, bruises, and other skin conditions.
*No prior meditation experience is necessary. Please bring a mug for tea, and a journal if you like.*
