Lists must be submitted before the event either in person or on best coast pairings. Rules cut off for the event is the 21st of September.

Date and Time: September 28th - 29th, Doors open at 9am, Registration closes at 950am, games start at 10am on the 28th, at 1pm on the 29th!
Entry Fee: $50
Army List Guidelines: Pariah nexus 10th ed strike force army lists.
Secondaries are fixed or tactical.
Painted points are in use but paint is not required.
The event is 4 rounds, 3 on day 1, 1 on day 2. At the end of day one there will be a top cut and those players will come back for one more game day 2.
The event will consist of four 3 hour rounds with a 1 hour lunch break after the first and a 15 min break after the 2nd.
The awards will be for 1st place and 2nd place at the end of day 2. There will be 3 raffled prizes for those that dont make the top cut and a best painted award at the end of day 1.
Missions: Pariah nexus companion missions. All tables will have the same mission, changing each round.
Terrain:
Will follow the matched play guidelines out of the main rule book with the additions of the first floor of all ruins will be line of sight blocking regardless if they are physically blocking or not where there are walls with gw tournament terrain set ups in use from their leviathan mission packet. All the terrain for each table will be preset by the TO before the event starts along with a randomly generated mission from the leviathan mission packet.
Rules issues will be dealt with swiftly by a roaming judge. We use a hierarchy for determining rules issues as follows:

3. FAQs and Erratas
4. Head TO has the final say
Prizes will be 1st, 2nd and best painted, as well as 3 raffled prizes for those who don't win awards. 1st place will also win a Title belt as the store champion with their name going up on a plaque as well as a trophy to take home.
Comp and Sports
There will be no comp scores at this event. If you are a general bad sportsman, you will be talked to. IF you continue, then you may be asked to leave. We play nice here.
WYSIWYG
"Modeling and Painting
All models are expected to be WYSIWYG to a reasonable standard. Exceptions will be made for themed units or armies.
Using a reasonable substitute to “Counts As” another model is ok.
If in doubt, send a picture in of a model to your TO in advance to ask if it is acceptable."
Bottom line. Make sure everything is WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) If the model has a flamer that is what weapon in needs to be in your army list - Counts as/Proxy Weapons are difficult for your opponents to keep straight. If you have significant conversions for your army and are not sure about them being allowed us a message with pics of the army and we can talk.
All models are expected to be WYSIWYG as much as is reasonable. Counts As armies with counts as allies will only be permitted if they represent a clearly concerted effort to build a unique army around an obvious theme. For example, an Adeptus Mechanicus army using extensive kit bashing and conversions will be fine.

If you are using converted or scratch built models, this is acceptable so long as your model is as close to the represented model as possible in terms of equipment, size and shape. We will not be lenient with this.
If you have any questions about your army, ask us prior to the event so that we can let you know if what you have will be acceptable or not.
Modeling for Advantage
There is a fine line between creative freedom and modeling for advantage. We do not wish to stifle anyone’s creativity, but in the end, this is a game that relies heavily upon the physical characteristics of the models being used.
Modeling for advantage will be handled on a case by case basis. To resolve a possible abusive situation, follow these steps:
1. Ask the player to play the model as if it were a GW standard, modern version.
2. Call a judge to ask for a judgment.
3. Possibly substitute the model with an appropriate replacement.
Examples of what we consider modeling for advantage:
1. Using out of date and inappropriately sized models such as the rogue trader era Eldar Avatar (which currently is a large, monstrous creature model but back then, was the size of a Space Marine, which would now grant huge advantages due to being so much smaller) or Gorka Morka Trukks (which are less than half the size of modern versions). If an army is made predominantly of Rogue Trader era minis (or any era) and is clearly going for a theme, then exceptions will be made. If it appears to a judge that the player is in fact modeling for advantage, then action will be taken.
2. Increasing or decreasing the size of models to gain an advantage in gaining or granting cover. Custom Battle Wagons often fall into this category.
3. Altering a model to increase the range of a model or to benefit your LOS.
