About this Event
This 2.5hour creative, hands on workshop will lead participants through handbuilding a clay mug or tumbler using the pinch pot method. You will then hand paint your mugs design using underglaze.
Your mug will then dry, i will fire it, clear glaze it, then send it for it's final firing before being ready for collection.
The amazing space at Jumpship Brewing here in Port Lincoln will have a range of cold and hot beverages and food for purchase from 12pm. Maybe a lunch date before the event, to make the most of the day. I will provide a small amount of nibbles for our 20 min break in the afternoon.
If your ready to take that next step in actually making your own mug then this is the workshop for you. Grab a group of friends, you partner, Mum, Dad, sister, brother or enjoy the experience on your own.
With Cristmas fast approaching you get to have the creative experience while potentially making a personalised gift for a loved one.
Your finished piece will be ready in 5 to 6 weeks after the workshop.
