About this Event
This is a chance to experience a muddy celebration of earth in the heart of Manhattan!
Residents of 57 West and EOS are welcome to join others at VIA for a day of splashing, rolling, squishing, sliding, making mud pies, and more!
Stations:
- Organic dirt from McEnroe Farm for digging and making mud
- Tools for scooping, pouring and sifting
- Water play areas
- Clean and dry crawling baby area and toddler explore station
- The Bee's knees! Materials for playing like bees and butterflies finding flowers and building nests
Please bring these important items for your children:
- Swimsuit
- Towel
- Change of Clothes
- Sunscreen
Space is limited.
Note: All children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event.

Residents should not attend the event if any of the following applies:
- You are 12 years of age or older and not vaccinated for COVID-19.
- You’re diagnosed with COVID-19 within 14 days of the event date.
- You experience any symptoms of COVID-19 including any chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea within 72 hours of the event
- You experience a fever above 100.4 F within 72 hours of event date.
- Within 14 days of the event date, you have been in close contact with a lab-confirmed or suspected COVID-19 case patient or someone with clinically-compatible symptoms of COVID-19.
- "Close Contact” is defined as being within six feet of a COVID-19 case patient for a prolonged period of time (which the CDC has defined as 15 minutes or longer) or having direct contact with infectious secretions of a COVID-19 case patient (e.g., being coughed on).
As a participant of this event, face coverings must be worn in accordance with CDC guidelines. Please note that events will be limited in capacity to ensure proper social distancing. If you are unable to comply with the above requirements, please do not attend the event.
