June 28 @ 6 - 8Join us for our monthly book club where we gather to talk about books and make a hand-built item from pottery. Our item for June will be a bookcase mug. The mugs will already be made but still soft clay so you will be able to stamp, carve, and paint them to look like the bookcase of your dreams. This class requires minimal to no pottery skills.
The class will be 2 hours. There is no set book for the event. We will discuss what we have all been reading, recommend new books to each other, discuss tropes and things we love about the stories we have been reading. You will each get to keep 1 piece that you make. We will glaze it for you and about 3 weeks later you will be able to pickup your work and have a functional keepsake of the event.
Participants must be 16 or older. All supplies are included in the price of the class. The class costs $50.
