Hey fam!

Big thanks to everyone who showed up at our last event at Khartoum. Good times throughout the night. ?
Keeping our monthly club concept moving along, we revisit our friends at Godthåb for yet a special evening.
Yours truly, DJ Niwin and DJ Ghar घर providing old and new treat's within disco, funk, house and broken-beat sphere. BUT hold on just a sec, cause we have a special guest onboard. ✨
After some back and forth, we have finally secured a date with none other than Niako:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Michael Niako Lamarre aka DJ Niako's relation to music goes way back, as it first and foremost comes from his deep interest and love for the art form, while dance being an essential part of that journey. Niako's first experience with DJing came about in 1998, when he became part of the crew Asu, a versatile group of dancers, DJ's and graffiti artists. Back then, Niako was into DJing music genres like: Drum'n'Bass, Hardcore and Techno.
Following his heart, he took a break from DJing to pursue his keen interest in Hip Hop and street dance culture. Meanwhile, being part of the respected street dance crew Legion X and pursuing his passion, he would secretly produce and collect music through the years, as DJing was awaiting him in near future. In 2017 Niako decided to touch roots with DJing again. Inspired and pushed by a close friend and DJ, who is acknowledged and celebrated in the international scene: DJ Stew.
Since then, Niako has made his mark, both as a respected dancer and DJ. That being a great selector that can spin across many music genres.
With music at heart and mind, and a clear intent of delivering the goods, best described in his own words:

"I want to make people feel what I feel, when I listen to good music. Path to become "the DJ" is long, I want to enjoy the journey, as much as I enjoy music."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
So without saying much more, mark your calendars and spread the word. ?
Tell a friend to bring their friends. ?

WE will see you on the floor, let's dance. ?

MUD Session:
MUD stands for Movement Undefined and started as an open ‘House session’ for movers across different backgrounds.
MUD Session concept was born in New York and created by the female House dance crew MAWU back in 2009, and later brought to Norway, Oslo in 2015. Since then, MUD has been a common meeting ground where we share our spirit and love for House music, House dance and club culture.
The concept mainly has its roots in house, disco, funk and boogie music genre, and aims to recreate the atmosphere that has existed in various clubs and underground scene in New York since the early 1980s. With us, we always have our resident DJs, DJ Ghar घर and DJ Niwin, who aim to take us on a musical journey.
Our monthly sessions have moved through different venues in Oslo: Dansens Hus, Kyrre Texnæs Studio Sentralen and Melahuset to mention a few.
In addition, MUD is currently running through Oslo’s club circuit: Revolver, Blå, Ingensteds, Jaeger Oslo, Oslo Camping and SALT art & music.
