Mucha Salsa+ is happening on August 17th!!
This month, MS+ has a special lesson on timing. The lecture/lesson/practica will be conducted by Calito Franco, an amazing local musician and head of Calito Franco Y Su Tumbáo Aňejo, and moderated by Tom. This lesson is for all levels, especially useful for beginners and dancers who want to learn how to decode salsa music so that you can be on time. Come prepared to ask questions and if you want to analyze any songs bring them and we'll do our best to find the 8 & 1 beats for you and for us.
Because of the special lesson, our regular lessons will not be held in August and will return for the September party.
After the lesson, the party begins with DJ Willie curating the sounds that will get everyone on their feet, moving, and grooving, as well as applying what dancers learned from Calito
