Frequently Asked Questions:
Maahon ba 'yung trail?
-Yes, especially from Camp 1 to Camp 2 at 'yung from Camp 2 to summit. So be ready na lang sa parang walang katapusan na ahon lalo na sa pa-summit kasi merong 5 peaks of deception.
May cutoff time ba sa hike?
-Yes, may dalawa tayong cutoff time. First is 'yung cutoff time sa Camp 2. Kailangan makarating da Camp 2 ng before 10 AM. Of beyond that, idi-discourage na kayo ng guide. Pero kung gusto niyo talaga tumuloy, you can, be ready lang sa overtime fee. Second is 'yung cutoff time sa jumpoff.
-Ngayong rainy season for sure mataas 'yan, so be extra careful talaga habang nagri-river cross.
May other fees ba?
-Yes, merong shower fee na ₱20 per timba. ₱120/head na fee if mag-i-stay sa kubo, pero may other option naman na pwedeng pagkainan ng lunch. 5 minutes away from Camp 2, may water source na pwedeng mag-lunch o magpahinga at along the trail lang naman.
May pwede bang kainan after hike?
-Yes, may mga tindahan sa jumpoff kapag maaga pa tayong makakababa. Pero I suggest na magpaluto na tayo sa jumpoff pa lang kasi pagkain talaga una mong hahanapin pagkatapos ng hike. The meal costs ₱180-200 unli rice at unli sabaw na.
May cutoff time ba sa van?
-Yes, there will be a cutoff time po sa van. Kailangan 1AM nasa van na since other joiners have other commitments pa since the next day would be Monday na. We can try to negotiate naman sa van operator kung hanggang anong oras willing to wait since dayhike lang 'to at maaga 'yung pickup time natin.😂
If you have other questions, feel free to drop it here or pm me hehe.
Additional reminders:
Always observe LNT principles na lang po sana all throughout the hike and be respectful sa locals. 'Wag ding mahihiyang magsabi if need mag-take 5 kung hindi na talaga kaya. Wala rin po sanang hindi magsu-summit. Lastly, just enjoy the hike at sure akong ma-e-enjoy niyo talaga siya because it will truly test your endurance and fortitude. 'Di naman ako magpapabalik-balik dun kung 'di ako nasasatisfy sa pagod na binibigay niya.😂
