eclectic games is pleased to host this Regional Championship Qualifier for Season 8 of the European Magic Series!This is your chance to play a competitive Magic: The Gathering event at eclectic games! This event is a a five-round Swiss Tournament wiht a Top 8 Draft using the Bloomburrow set.
Date: Saturday the 3rd of August
Timings on the day:
Doors open & Registration at 10am
Opening announcements at 10.30am
Pool registration starts at 10.45am
Deck building starts at 11.15pm
First round starts at 12pm
Estimated finish for Sealed Tournament: 5pm
Estimated finish for Top 8 Draft: 9pm
Here's how it works:
You open your boosters and build your deck following the standard MtG deckbuilding rules. Basic lands are available.
You play in a 5-round Swiss Style Tournament over a number of rounds against others with a similar running score, but not against the same opponents several times.
This is followed by a Top 8 single elimination Draft.
This is a competitive event. Rules Enforcement Level: Competitive.
What do I need to bring?
Pen
Paper / Life Pad
Dice / Counters
Card sleeves are highly recommended.
We have plenty of dice and other counters and sleeves available for purchase in-store.
No other materials are required; basic lands can be borrowed from the store.

Other important information:
This competitive event is different to our normal prerelease, Friday night and Commander events.
Players are expected to understand how their cards work, as well as general MTG rules. The casual elements of our usual events (such as helping others with deckbuilding) are not permitted.
Pool and deck registration will be required on the day.
