MTG Avatar The Last Airbender Prerelease Events Fri-Sat-Sun -- Nov 14-15-16Faction Prerelease Kits are back (see below).
4 Sealed Events
Event 1: Fri Nov 14 at 7 PM
Event 2: Sat Nov 15 at 1 PM
Event 3: Sat Nov 15 at 6 PM - 2 Headed Giant
Event 4: Sun Nov 16 at 1 PM
Events 1, 2 and 4 are 1v1 Sealed. Event 3 is a 2-Headed Giant Sealed! (need a partner for this one).
Event fee is $50 per person and includes (1) prerelease kit per event.
BONUS - All players who participate in (2) Prerelease Events will receive a special Extra-Large Dice Bag. These collectible dice bags feature dye-sublimated printings of each of the five characters from the Prerelease Packs and are large enough to store cards, counters and more. This is one per person, while supplies last. Will be allocated in preregistration order.
All events are 3 rounds.

Prerelease Kits
*****************
Factionalized Prerelease Kits are back, this time based on an Avatar character. Character's are:
Aang (W)
Azula (B)
Katara (U)
Toph (G)
Zuko (R)
As such, Prerelease Kits are "skewed" toward one character via a Character-themed Prerelease Booster Pack. So ... each kit will contain (5) regular Avatar Play Booster Packs and (1) Character-Themed Avatar Prerelease Booster Pack.
For this prerelease, you get to pick which Prerelease Kit (Character) you want to open and play with.
With the Kits, we get an equal number of each Kit. Therefore, each event has a limited number of each kit available. You pick your kit when you preregister. If you register later, rather than sooner, some kits may not be available for that event. So if you want a specific kit, best to preregister as soon as possible.
Also, to help balance the kits, if you play in multiple events, you have to choose a different kit for each event. For example, if you get an Aang kit on Friday Night. You have to select a different kit on Saturday.

Pre-Registration

Each event will have a max of 32 players/16 teams.
Pre-Registration is strongly recommended to make sure that you have a seat. Payment is required when you pre-register to reserve the seat.
In addition, a Wizards Account is required to pre-register and to participate in the event. Your Wizards Account will replace your DCI number as DCI numbers have been retired.
If you already have a Wizards Account, please provide that when you pre-register. If you do not have one, you can create one at myaccounts.wizards.com
Pre-Registration can either be done in the store, via FB message or by phone.

Every Round you play wins you a prize ... either Avatar Play Booster Pack(s) or a pick from the Mystery Board.
The Mystery Board will be restocked with Promo Packs, Shiny Promos, Full Art Promos, Shiny Full Art Promos, some really old stuff, some really big stuff and plenty of other mystery thingys...
The Ultimate Pencil and the foil Sheoldred, the Apocalypse were pulled off the board last prerelease, but all of the Final Fantasy posters are still on the Mystery Board. Wonder what other "goodies" might work there way onto the Mystery Board .....
If you lose or tie your match, you get an immediate pick off the Mystery Board. If you win your match, you get Avatar Play booster packs at the end of the event.
3 Match Wins ==> 7 Avatar Play Boosters + Bonus MB Pick
2 Match Wins ==> 4 Avatar Play Boosters
1 Match Win ==> 2 Avatar Play Boosters
If you play all 3 rounds and don't win any matches, you get 1 Avatar Play Booster Pack in addition to all those Mystery Board picks!
