About this Event
Coaches learn the progressive steps needed to teach both basic and advanced mountain biking skills, experiential teaching techniques, how to accommodate different learning styles and how to create a positive learning environment for young riders. This 4-hour / 4 CEUs clinic is outside on your bike so please bring bike, appropriate riding gear for the weather, water and snacks. Taught by ACA-certified skills trainers.
Note: Successful completion of MTB 101 and MTB 201 are prerequisites for MTB 301.
Instructor: Stefanie McDaniel and Chloe Woodruff
* Class is open to coaches (new and returning) affiliated with the Arizona Cycling Association only.
Coaches are the backbone of our program and we want to provide the support and education they need to be successful. The purpose of the ACA Coach License Program is to offer comprehensive training to coaches so that they are equipped to provide quality programming to student-athletes that meets national standards and best practices while developing strong mind, body and character.
