Mt. San Antonio College’s Horticulture Unit will host its second autumn plant sale at the Los Angeles County Arboretum with this three-day event. Arboretum members will have exclusive access to the sale from 8am, an hour before the sale opens at 9am to the public.Mt. SAC will be selling plants grown by students working on degrees in Ornamental Horticulture, Park & Sports Turf Management, Integrated Pest Management, and Equipment Technology. Available for purchase will be houseplants, plumerias, succulents, shade plants, general landscape plants, sages, agaves, a limited supply of California friendly plants, as well as specialty plants such as Adenium obesum, Pachypodium lamerei, and Dracaena dracos.
Students will also be on hand to answer questions about plant care and assist customers with plant selections. Proceeds from the sale benefit the Mt. SAC Horticulture program. Methods of payment are credit cards (American Express, Visa, Mastercard or Discover and we can also do Apple/Google pay) and cash.
