The first Mt Mable Angus on farm sale was held in 1985 after several years of Alan and Maisie selling bulls at a combined sale. This year will mark the 40th annual sale of Mt Mable Angus two year old bulls being sold on farm (several farms but whose counting?) The quality of the bulls has only improved over those years with the introduction of ultrasound scanning and measuring absolutely everything possible - leading to Mt Mable having been a 5 Star (Gold) recorder under ABRI Breedplan since the stars were created to reflect the level of recording being completed.
