Enjoy wine and hors-d'ouevres at this high-energy concert by the Mt. Hood Community College Jazz Band led by Dan Davey!Dan Davey is Director of Jazz Studies at Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, Oregon, where he leads the award-winning jazz program and serves as Director of the Mt. Hood Jazz Festival. A graduate of Berklee College of Music and the American Band College of Sam Houston State University, he is an accomplished pianist, organist, and trumpet player who frequently appears as a guest clinician and adjudicator nationwide.
The Mt. Hood Jazz Band, under Davey’s direction, is MHCC’s premier ensemble, known for its high-energy performances and commitment to musical excellence. The band has performed at major regional events, including the Oregon Music Education Association State Conference, and has released the album Super Blue.
They will be playing some of their best music with some holiday influence for Christmas At The Museum.
