Empowering Infant Feeding:
Early Support, Informed Care, and Collaborative Solutions

This conference will incorporate:
-The focus on early intervention (PT, flange fitting, growth tracking)
-The value of parental empowerment and infant behavior-based support
-The importance of inter-professional collaboration in equitable lactation care
By the end of the conference, participants will be able to:
*Recognize the role of interdisciplinary providers (e.g., PTs, PCPs, IBCLCs) in supporting early infant feeding challenges and improving outcomes.
*Identify clinical strategies for assessing and managing factors that impact breastfeeding, including growth patterns, oral-motor development, and equipment fit.
*Increase parental confidence by understanding and teaching responsive parenting approaches and infant behavior cues.
*Apply evidence-based tools and practices to promote longer breastfeeding/chestfeeding duration and improved feeding experiences.
*Engage in collaborative care models that integrate medical, therapeutic, and lactation professionals to better and more equitably support families.
