Lets DanceThe "MSBC Amateur Dance Cup" will take place on Friday 3th September 2021 from 22:30 hrs as part of the Munich Salsa Bachata Congress 2021.

The winner of the MSBC DANCE CUPS will receive 500 EUR and the opportunity to present the show at the gala night on Saturday as part of the international show program.
REGISTRATION:
Registration is by email [email protected]. The number of participants is limited to 10 groups, solo dancers or couples. The first ten registrations will be accepted. The closing date for registration is Friday 21st August 2021.

PARTICIPATION FEE:
The participation fee is 20 EUR per person. Only upon receipt of the registration fee is the registration considered completed.
THE JURY
The jury consists of national and international Salsa-Congress organizers.

RULES:
1. GENERAL
a. The show may include Salsa, Bachata or Kizomba dance styles or a combination thereof.
b. The show may include intro/transitions from other rhythms e.g. hip hop, but for the most part (approx. 70%) the dance styles described above under a. must be danced.
c. Lifting figures, lifts and mix of styles are allowed.
d. Props / decorations / accessories (chairs, poles, umbrellas, scarves, instruments etc.) may be used.
e. The choreography must not exceed a total length of 4 minutes.
f. The order/start number of the participants will be determined randomly before the competition.
g. Participant level: Amateur, i.e. dance students, hobby dancers, dancers who do not live from dance - no dance teachers.
2. EVALUATION CRITERIA
TECHNOLOGY:
- Clock reliability
- Technical execution (turns, footwork, movements, synchronicity, combinations)
- level of difficulty
PRESENTATION:
- Presentation: costumes, hair, make-up
- Stage presence and charisma
- Contact with audience and to each other
CHOREOGRAPHY:
- Stage sets and constellations
- Musicality (interpretation of the music)
- Originality and entertainment
